Synopsis
Dung-Aw utilizes the optical printer, Visual impressions of militarization are laid on a sound collage of documented materials evoking a lament (or dung-aw in Ilocano language). Included in the soundtrack, are sound clips from the massacre of the farmer's rally in Mendiola, interviews of children who have lost parents either to political detention or to military operations, and a mother's cry at a son's burial. Abstract visuals embrace real audio in Dung-Aw.
